Substance abuse

Doping and Alcohol Policy
Substance abuse and doping- The AOAA will not tolerate substance abuse, doping, or the taking of illegal drugs. Such activities will result in instant dismissal and revocation of licence. The AOAA abides by the World Anti-Doping Code and the International Standard Prohibited List.

Alcohol and so-called ‘social’ drugs
Any person suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to participate in the Club events
Repeated infringements will result in a ban from the Club as stated above
The sensible enjoyment of alcoholic beverages in social events or after training or competition is accepted as part of club life. Over-indulgence is to be avoided, however, as this may bring the Club into disrepute.
Smoking or vaping is not allowed anywhere on Club venues including the car parks.
Smoking is bad for health and Instructors will discourage smoking and encourage quitting.
